Key Account Manager is responsible for the development of the business strategy for key clients, acquisition new accounts, and continuous growth of the entrusted customers’ portfolio. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for the business-critical accounts, across all transportation modes in the greater Cairo area and Egypt. You will foster a close working relationship with clients, by consulting them on products and solutions offered by Kuehne + Nagel. You will support the implementation of the new clients, while constantly pursuing new business opportunities among existing clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales account manager to be a part of the transformation of the logistic industry.
Developing a key account portfolio of customers by growing existing and acquiring new clients;
Elaboration of a trading strategy for each key client in the entrusted portfolio and its regular updating.
Tender and contract management between the clients and Kuehne + Nagel Egypt;
Organizing and conducting business meetings, presentation of the company’s services and projects, and obtaining feedback from clients;
Coordinating the implementation of the new customer with respective supporting internal departments;
Evaluation of qualitative and economic performance indicators of key clients;
Engaging with Regional & Global Key Account Management Teams to leverage the success of the industry and create efficiency with the appointed customers.
Your Skills And Experiences
Min. 5 years of sales experience in intermodal transport (Air, Sea, Land);
Min. Bachelor degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management;
Comprehensive knowledge of the logistic market, allowing confident business goal setting and consultative sales approach;
Ability to set priorities while focusing on the requirements and expectations of the clients;
Good analytical and organization skills, accompanied by ability to work in teams and resilience to stress;
Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (spoken and written);
Driver’s License Cat. B with willingness for business travel;
Confident user of MS Office package, with focus on Excel.
